About Me
I am an eighteen year old boy living in the Nottingham area, UK. I really enjoy music, its probably my major passion but I hadn’t really discovered its joys until a few years ago. I love my friends and spending random time around them is very important to me. Then of course is my other passion, skiing. I’m a PSIA level 1 ski instructor and finished off my first season in Lake Tahoe, California in April. I am now in my gap year, having gotten into Nottingham University on the strength of my B in Chemistry and Psychology and C in Physics. Currently I’m just bored out of my skull trying to find work whilst waiting for my course to start in the Autumn.
I play guitar in a band (Opium Toad) with most of my good friends and really enjoy playing with them even if it can get annoying when they won’t stop playing when someone (especially me) is trying to talk.
I like discussions and debates although there aren’t really enough opposing views around me for anything too interesting, my political stance is more to the left and I’m a strong agnostic but you would probably call my arguments quite atheistic in nature.
This blog is mainly me writing about my life, music and gaming as well as about me getting my opinion out onto the great chasm of the internet, regardless of whether it is heard or not. I also enjoy the self censorship I apply to myself when writing diary style entries onto the internet, as it allows me to document my life for future reference but without the embarrassment of writing stupid things as I have a tendency to do in my private writings. I do not claim any kind of professional qualifications so as to write such fascinating posts as “10 ways to shave another 5 seconds off going to the toilet” and “7 ways to monetize your blog”. It’s not what I want to read is definitely not what I’m going to write.
